Environment Enrichment
This includes cat towers and other elevated areas that cats can climb to. In a small living area – it’s important to keep cats off the ground. These items are great for doing just that and very minimal on space usage. Those following my content know that I don’t really like regular cat towers for the amount of space that they take up. Space Saving Cat Towers
In my apartment, I exclusively use this type of cat tower. It’s more like a cat pole than any cat tree that I’ve come across. It promotes a more active lifestyle and lets them climb, play, and expend more energy than your typical cat tower. Of course, it also takes a lot less space.

Scratching Posts/Cat Scratchers
There are only two cat scratchers that I would recommend. One vertical cat scratching post and one horizontal/angled scratching post. The vertical one is for when our cats want to stretch out and scratch. The horizontal scratcher is for when our cats need to grip on something. These two scratching posts are all you need to cover your cat’s scratching needs.

Cat Water Fountains
Some cats just really like running water and in a multi-cat home, it’s nice to have a large water fountain to accommodate all the cats at once.
Water fountains are generally the same in features – they only differ in design for the most part. Choose one that most fits your home style. These are the cat water fountains that I would recommend.
One thing to note about cat water fountains is that they require proper cleaning of the motor weekly or else the function might be impaired later on or you might have to replace the pump.

This water fountain has a lot of features that might bring some convenience such as the versatility to choose from 1 to 5 free-falling streams. Stainless steel to prevent bacterial build-up and its design is really good for multi-cat homes because cats can drink from it in any direction.

Having cats doesn’t mean that your home has to look like a mess! Cat homes can be great smelling and clean too!

Cat Smells and Odor
If you want to decrease the smells from the litter box, baking soda really helps reduce a significant amount of odor (look in the litter box section for the recommended product). Coffee grounds also have a similar effect – sprinkle a bit in the litter box and you’re good to go.
For general pet odors and hair, I would recommend getting an air purifier with a carbon filter + HEPA filter. The carbon filter takes care of the smells and HEPA takes care of the hair and other small particles that might be in the air.

These are the tools that I use in my litter box area. I am very satisfied with my litter box setup and don’t plan on changing it for a while. I have gone through so many litter boxes and litter that I hope by recommended these products, it saves you a bit of time and money!
